Sucks to be a Texan on a day like today...

You have to love waking up in the morning to the message on the website:

Due to the winter storm, the campus is closed today. All classes are cancelled and all non-essential employees do not need to report to work. That's me... just a non-essential employee. Gotta love the term "non-essential employee."

So, while all you "warm climate people" are working like dogs... I am getting paid to sit at home and blog. Too bad you will never have the feeling of freedom that one feels when days like this come along.

I think I'll pass on moving to Texas. Do YOU ever get a day off for a snow storm?
